When our founder Carole found four kittens abandoned in Baltimore this summer, her post was shared over 450 times and every kitten was placed in a foster home within days. That reach is only possible because people like you keep the food bowls full.

Maryland Fur Babies grew from a simple act of kindness: Carole Ridgell, a Baltimore senior on a fixed income, feeding and protecting stray cats and other animals in her neighborhood. As the need grew, so did the mission.
